Sleep… is my favourite. I have a hard time putting into words how much I truly love sleep. Being cocooned in blankets and having a pile of pillows on my head is pure bliss. Mornings however, I hate. So in turn, having a morning skincare routine that I love helps drag me out of bed. So without further ado… here are products that for me, are worth getting out of bed for…
Lip Scrub – Bite Beauty – Whipped Cherry Lip Scrub
The first thing I do every morning before I jump in the shower is scrub my lips. I’ve been using this one for a while now and I think it’s perfect for everyday in that it’s pretty gentle but still gets the job done. Plus the smell is delish…
Cleanser – Lush – Coal Face
I’ve used this one off and on for years and I just keep coming back to it. Most of the time my skin is too dry to even attempt to form a breakout but once in a blue moon it does and for all the times in between I can get pretty bad texture. I love this cleanser because it smooths out my texture and keeps breakouts at bay. Although the coal in this one is pretty detoxifying it doesn’t dry me out and it leaves me feeling refreshed for the day ahead.
***Coal Face is not pictured as mine is currently the saddest little pebble ever***
Toner – Thayers – Rose Petal
I already raved about this in my Beauty Sleep post but I use it every morning as well. I recently had to repurchase and got the Rose Petal version and love it. I thought it would be a better choice for these cold winter days. Plus it smells fabulous.
Serum (Face) – Flores Boticario – Luna De Miel
I just started using this one about a month ago and am in absolute love. First off it gives your skin the most glorious, natural, lit from within glow. Secondly I can feel a difference in the health and strength of my skin since using it… This may be a new holy grail one for me.
Serum (Neck) – Flores Boticario – Rose Otto Anti-Aging Elixir
This is another repeat from my Beauty Sleep post but that’s how much I adore it. One thing I learned in my days as an aesthetician is to not dismiss your neck! Do to your neck what you do to your face.
Eye Creme – Living Libations – All Seeing Eye Creme
I bought this eye creme for the last reason you should buy an eye creme… the smell. It’s so good. Although I had some reservations about how my eyes would react to an immaculately scented product I rolled the dice. My eyes are a little touchy and I never know what will set them off into a waterfall of non-stop burning tears but this did not. This creme is so soft and soothing and I would highly recommend it.
Moisturizer – First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Cream
This is another one I’ve used off and on for years. The beauty of this cream is the simplicity of it. There is no strong scent, no dyes, just soothing moisture that doesn’t leave you looking like a greasy mess.
Ta ta 😉
